Take A Deep Breath

This evening, I am letting my shoulders drop and taking a deep breath. This week has been eventful, productive, emotional and odd. Mother nature has shown us summer is almost over, leaves are starting to fall, pumpkin spice latte commercials are all over, and family headed back to their home state. On the work end, I am gearing up for our military symposium next week in DC. Yes, September is around the corner and while we only have a few more weeks of somewhat warm weather, I am not sure if I am ready for more changes. Let’s not forget summer camp for little one is almost over, and he’ll be heading to the next class in pre-school.

As for the farm @glory_fields,  we are preparing to transition to the cold weather. We are seeding, transplanting and getting the high-tunnel ready to extend the growing season.

Overall, it was an overwhelming, yet productive day. Thanks to the support of a talented work team, a supportive husband and a nook where I can be creative and brainstorm our plans and goals, life is smoother. Here is a picture of my office/creative space. Here is where the inspiration, creativity, writing, editing, photoshoots, brainstorming, painting, shirt pressing, cutting, crafting and some seed starting happens. I like to think we have more hours in a day to accomplish our goals but we don’t. In the meantime,  I will pray for wisdom and keep this quote in mind.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
