This weekend we traveled to Upstate, NY for a family graduation ceremony. While in the area, we visited Rosalind’s Gardens Greenhouse, owned by our in-laws’ father. It is great learning from experienced growers who are willing to share their tricks of the trade.
A drop-in visit led to a conversation on seeding, efficiency, groundcover and organic practices.
At the end of our visit, we were blessed with a hanging basket of fushia, a tray of dahlias and several catalogs to comb through.
We are only two months into our new venture, and we recognize that we have a lot to learn. We are grateful to everyone who has shared their wisdom with us so far.
We are ready to grow and bloom.
If you are in the Rome/Oneida area, make sure to stop by.
