Add Some Rustic Romanticism or Whimsical Wildflowers to Your Day!

Summer may be gone, but the memories of the garden’s beautiful hues, blooms, and smells are slower to fade. From the striking bold burgundy colored tassel flower to the bubble gum smell of the snapdragon and floral scents of the green artemisia, each contributes to the ensemble of notes when put together. Bringing that transformation from a single stem to a beautiful bouquet into someone’s hand is simply magical, especially that of a bride.

Love, romance, joy, fellowship, respect… weddings are meaningful and bring many emotions forward as the day approaches. It’s a fresh start for the couple or a new chapter for others. And for us, it’s a new challenge we have proudly taken on with love.

We have researched, studied, and attended classes on flowers, arrangements, and more for the past couple of years. Previously, to the best of  my knowledge, a bouquet was simply a bunch of flowers put together, and that was it.  Suddenly, I am learning new terms — a cascade bouquet, a posy bouquet, round bouquet, nosegay bouquet, pomander bouquet, composite bouquet, and hand-tied bouquet. YIKES. All while trying to get our first bouquet ready for a wedding a couple of years ago.

Next up, flower meaning. Did you know our favorite zinnia is associated with endurance and goodness? In some cultures, celosia is associated with silliness, affection, and undying love. The snapdragon symbolizes grace and strength, and so on.

While some flowers symbolize affection, friendship, ever-lasting or immortality, these blooms don’t stay with us for a long time. We call them seasonal flowers for a reason, and once the season is over, they are gone until next year. So, see you in 2023!

If you are gearing up to plan a wedding or know of a bride seeking to add some rustic romanticism or whimsical wildflowers to her day, we are a message or call away.
